AFC Audubon Woodswalk

Greetings NYFOA Members and Friends.

NYFOA is pleased to partner again with the Audubon Society to bring you a woods walk workshop to demonstrate songbird habitat management in practice. We would like to give a special thanks to Audubon for providing financial and planning support to these programs. We would like to give further thanks to the NYFOA volunteers at the state level and chapters for their efforts to plan, administer, and host these events; their commitment of time to bring this benefit to our organization and friends is most appreciated.

We are excited about this program and hope you will join in for the opportunity to learn about some different practices you can implement on your property to promote songbird inviting habitat. This woods walk will be led by Audubon staff on a property they selected to demonstrate management practices for promoting songbird habitat that have been implemented there. Furthermore, Audubon has been certifying consulting foresters across NY through training, to give you additional access to qualified professionals to assist you in planning and implementing these practices.

We are contacting you to invite you to the workshop scheduled in your area as described below.

There is no cost to you to attend, but space is limited to 40 participants and pre-registration is required.
