NYFOA members are invited to an Invasive Treatment Workshop hosted by NYFOA Members Dana and Linda Allison and Future Forest Consulting Inc. on July 14th 2018 at 10am. This workshop will feature mechanical treatment of invasive species with a Fecon Mulcher and follow up spraying techniques for control. Subject invasives will include multifloral rose, honey suckle, and autumn olive. Planting options for reforestation will also be discussed. The property is located on 4638 County Rd 33 in the Town of Richmond, Ontario County. The 170-acre property began as a Christmas Tree Farm in the early 60's and the property has been enrolled in 480a since 1998. The Allison’s are the third owner since the Tree Farm was established. Snacks and drinks will be available following the woods walk.
