Spring Wildflower Walk at the Arnot

Saturday, May 21st from 10:30 – noon (following the birding walk).

Schuyler CCE Environmental Educator Marissa Nolan will lead a walk to discover and learn about the numerous spring wildflower and ephemeral plants, like “leeks”, that grace the edges of Banfield Road on the lower portion of the Arnot Forest in mid-May. This free and family-friendly walk will take place rain or shine and require walking up to one mile in forest conditions. The walk will start at 10:30 am at the historic Arnot sugarhouse on Banfield Road. The 611 County Road 13; Van Etten address will lead you to the Arnot south gate and Banfield Road. From there, follow Banfield Road approximately 500 yards to the sugarhouse. No registration is necessary.
