Hold The Date !

After missing a year due to Covid, the popular annual Potluck Dinner will return on January 19th. The program will feature Master Luthier Kevin LaDue whose custom-made acoustic guitars are in great demand. Kevin utilizes a wide variety of locally-grown hardwoods as well as Sitka spruce and cedar from Alaska in his guitars, which are works of art as well as fine musical instruments. He will bring some finished instruments and explain the process of converting a log into a potential Stradivarius. Kevin and a former apprentice luthier Jesse Lapadula will then entertain us with a few songs from their creations.

As always, the Pot Luck Dinner will be held at CCE Broome County in Binghamton. Watch for further details in a future newsletter. Mark your calendars for this chapter favorite. Everyone attending is asked to bring a dish to share. Outlets are available for crock pots or warming trays. Beverages are provided, although members are encouraged to bring any non alcoholic favorites they wish to share. Please bring your own plate, eating utensils and drinking cup or mug.
