Restore New York Woodlands

Why Do New York’s Woodlands Need Restoring?

Studies by Cornell University and The Nature Conservancy have indicated that up to 70% of New York’s woodlands are endangered by critical forest health issues. Without timely and comprehensive action, many of the environmental and economic benefits of our forests will be denied to future generations. NYFOA has launched the Restore New York Woodlands (RNYW) initiative to bring forest health issues and solutions to the attention of all forest stakeholders and the general public.
