Please join us for a day of seminars for forest practitioners on uneven-aged silviculture, exploitative harvesting, rehabilitation, and interference, representing the work conducted with or are reflective of the work of Distinguished Service Professor Dr. Ralph Nyland, who retired after 49 years of service to ESF. In honor of Dr. Nyland's dedication for mentoring students and to providing outstanding continuing education and real-world strategies to forestry professionals, each speaker will summarize research results to provide practical guidance to managers.
Presenters, many of whom got their starts under Nyland’s tutelage, hail from the US and Canadian Forest Services, extension programs, as well as from ESF’s Departments of Forest & Natural Resources and Environmental & Forest Biology.
