Congratulations to Jeff Rupp- 2010 winner of the AFC Chapter Service Award!

Jeff Rupp, a retired Environmental Conservation Officer and forest owner
is the Allegany Foothills nominee for this year's Chapter Service Award.
He was and continues to be well liked and well respected by his peers.
He is an MFO and has been the lead MFO for Cattaraugus and Allegheny
County for several years. He coordinates the MFO visits in these areas.
He and his wife have also hosted an MFO Refresher Course at their church
and home. Jeff also coordinates the NYFOA display at the Cattaraugus Fair
each year. He personally takes a big share inthe manning of the booth.
He is now involved in arranging for a NYFOA presence at the Allegany County
Fair. Jeff was a principal gatherer and coordinator for Cattaraugus County
when our Chapter collected nuts for the Saratoga nursery as an annual
fundraiser. He also coordinated the distribution of tree seedlings for the
three counties to generate funds for AFC. Jeff has served as Vice Chairman
of the Chapter for several years and always does more than his share.
